Re-Heating Instructions

MEAT

Smoked Turkey

Your smoked turkey has been placed in an oven ready disposable pan. Stock has been provided and is in the bottom of the pan to help keep it moist. Pull the turkey out of the fridge 1-2 hours before reheating to allow it to come up to room temperature. Then tent the bird by loosely draping it with foil. This will keep the skin from getting too dark while reheating. Keep the turkey tented with aluminum foil and place it in a preheated oven.

For 2 person: 350° for 25 – 30 minutes
For 4 person: 350° for 1 – 1 ½ hours
For 8-10 person: 325° for 1 ½ - 2 hours

Check the turkey with a probe thermometer. It should read 145° in the thickest part of the thigh without touching the bone. The smoked turkey is ready for carving after reaching this temperature.

Tip: To speed up this process you can cut the breast, wings, thighs, and legs and place individually into the roasting pan. This will allow the meat to heat faster. The gravy can be reheated on the stovetop in a heavy bottom sauce pot. Do NOT let it boil.
